The target audience we would like to approach are people from the age of 8 and older. Since our game is educative, our potential customers are children with a basic understanding and interest in the environment and the underwater world, so a particular level of education is not required. Our aim is to simultaneously entertain children and let them learn about the ocean in a playful way. If they own a mobile device, they can play the game whenever they want and wherever they want, but it can also be used as a educational method when it comes to learning about the ocean and the current pollution of the sea.
Because of the fact that children aren’t able to purchase games from the App Store it is urgent that our game is advertised in a specific way so that children are interested in the game but also that parents are willing to buy it. It is important to maintain a balance between marketing to parents and marketing to children.
