Production and financial aspects
As we want to raise money with our game to save the ocean we want to enable as many people as possible without spending too much money on the production process.
We're going to produce our game for iOS and Android smartphones as those are the most common operating systems on the market.
The game engine we're working with is called MonoGame and is ideal for our game as it is an open source engine that allows us to publish for iOS and Android and is perfect for side-scroll games.
We expect a production period of 6 months where 4 people are working full time on the game.
The programs we need to develop all of the graphics are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
To get as much attention as possible for our game we are trying to win round some NGOs who campaign for the welfair of the sea such as WWF, Greenpeace or Seashepard.
Those companies could offer us a huge platform where they could promote our game so we would save the money we would have spent on advertisement.
To support the game with various different sound effects we will take usage of commercial audiojungle sounds. Depending on the different scenerarios we reckon with the application of approximately 100 sounds.
